News: Olympians and charities to benefit from Docklands rowing regatta

A rowing regatta on Friday the 29th September will see proceeds going towards funding the Japan 2020 bids of some of Ireland’s Olympic rowers as well as the Irish Haemochromatosis Association.

Organised by Crew Class, who run corporate rowing experience days and FRS Recruitment, Ireland’s national recruitment agency, the event will take place at Grand Canal Dock this Friday from 1.30 to 5.30 and will see over 40 companies compete on the event.
Grand Canal Dock will be a hub of activity as 40 crews learn to row and race against each other in the ultimate team building event.

The teams will have rowing lessons during the morning with experienced rowers guiding them through their paces.
Crew Class, founded by Niall O’Toole, 3 time Olympic rower and world champion, is a franchise for the elite rower enabling them to create an economy for themselves and to provide support when transitioning out of the sport. Sanita Puspure, currently representing Ireland at the World Championships in Florida, manages the Cork franchise and recently ran her first event with FRS Recruitment on the River Lee.

The Docklands Regatta, which is sponsored by FRS Recruitment, will also benefit Crew Class charity partners the Irish Haemochromatosis Association and Crossing the Line sports.
